How long does it take to make a wig?
The average turn around time for the Sage partial wig is 4 weeks
and a full wig is 8 weeks.
Is the donor’s hair for a wig sanitized?
Yes, once the wig is assembled it goes through a detox process.
Was the hair sent out of the country to make the wig?
No, all the wigs are produced locally and ethically.
If you donate your hair, how long will it take to be made into a wig?
Unknown at this time. As orders come in we sort through the donor hair to find matching color, length, and texture.
When my hair is used for a wig, can you find out the person who got the wig?
No, due to HIPPA laws we are under confidentiality, but when the wig is made you will receive a picture of the wig on display.

Do you make hair pieces for men?
Not at this time.
You were just diagnosed with cancer and you’re going to lose your hair. What happens next?
Set up an appointment with Kristin to go over basic wig education and receive a free consultation. After that we will come up with a wig plan.
Are cancer clients charged for their wigs?
Yes, other women in this area are employed to help make the custom wigs.
Does all the donated hair go to cancer clients?
The majority of the clientele are cancer clients however, women suffering from hair loss conditions are not excluded.
How many donations does it take to make a wig?
Approximately 3-5 donations.
Can you use your own hair or a relatives hair to help make a wig?
Yes, if it provides a similar hair color, texture and length.
Can you make a wig for a child?
At this time we are not making wigs for children, but we would consult for a teenager/young adult.
How many people can I have at my wig consultation?
As many as you want.
Where can you donate your hair?
You can either mail or drop it off to 193 E Lakewood Blvd Holland, Michigan 49424.
What happens if the donor’s hair has lice in it?
The hair will be thrown out.
What other wig options are available?
Human hair partials, human hair full wigs or full synthetic wigs.
