You feel your world spinning out of control...
You have just been diagnosed and feel your world spinning out of control. Anxiety, nervous, helpless, ugly, angry, nauseous and out of body. I remember these feelings all too well when my diagnosis came September 14, 2020.
Losing my hair was one of the hardest parts of my cancer journey. I felt vulnerable, sick, unconfident, until I found a wig that looked real. My love for wigs started at that moment. I felt confident, beautiful, secure, and most importantly, I felt like me! Cancer + Chemo had taken so much from me and I was not going to let it take my dignity too. Wearing the wig made me feel stronger - healthier somehow. It allowed me not to be defined by my cancer.
I know God has placed me on this cancer journey so I can help other women feel good too.
